In the morning light;
searching for lost memories
from the night battle.

seems no matter what,
if whispered it sounds good -
it's about the tone.

too often
we cannot see beyond-
hard surfaces

classical curves
hard rock spirited soul
new age life

One who knows me
when my attitude is dark
a beacon of light

morning mist
bathing in dreams
your essence

golden sunrise
zephyrs of our kiss
dreams whisper

a robin's song
small crocus flower
rises with sun

nomadic winds
snow drifts across fields
across my mind - you

before daybreak
rivers of jasmine
flow in moonlight

fireflies skitter
summer dreams escape
uncaptured

winter skies
winds exhale through branches
morning nirvana

each tap on sill
summer rain counts
illusions of time

rain rhythms
matching my steps
to the kitchen

slivers of dawn
gather in lavender fields
morning's bouquet

wind's song
ancient memories
young love reborn

the sound of water
tumbling rocks
a cricket's song

warm rains
from muddy road
a graveled crunch

dusky sun
river gathers
traces of light

towering pines
robins sing
sunlight melodies

deep quiet
between falling waters
moments of silence

red moon rise
over the gate
a branch of birds

summer sky
white silken robes
heavenly perfume

overhead
dream clouds pass
and then your smile

on the path
perfect whiteness
drifting sand

dashed by wind
against rocks - crushed
a wave and I

morning moon
since you left
the sun, different

dreams spice
burns my mouth and eyes
waiting for you

sips of nectar
still a thirst;
dew promises

HiaSeaku

seven knots
making good time
to nowhere

Maine lobster
slips through the mesh
caught off guard

bloody dogfish
spill from the net
sea gull dessert

distant starboard light
another ship of fools
in summer squall

Tiverton Cove
buildings cling to rocks
boats to the dock

summer breeze
infused with salt and sea
mending the net

summer moon
reflects on rippled sea
liquid stars, dive

empty wheelhouse
the sound of surf
inside and out

morning light
creeping across the deck
with summer

white hair of sea
flows in and out of scuppers
august storms

waves flapping
gulls chatter and squabble
flight of summer

Poems Seasons
autumn
scarlet leaves
a poem

leaves turn
your words
on my tongue

in the divide
of winter night and morning
arousal

writing a poem
your warm words
my tea

each flower
spring opens
a new leaf

each breath
fragrant plumeria
your perfume

a sunset sea
waves competing
for attention

sand slipping
between each word
and my fingers
